Rubber Washer for Berkey Earth® & Ceramic Filters
The Berkey Earth® Ceramic Filter Rubber Washer is the essential sealing component that comes standard with every Berkey Earth ceramic filter element. Over time, rubber washers wear from repeated installation and water exposure — a degraded washer compromises the seal between the filter stem and housing, allowing unfiltered water to bypass the filter media. Replacing it restores full system integrity.

Installation
Position the washer on the filter stem before inserting the element into your gravity filter housing. Hand-tighten the wing nut to compress the washer and create a watertight seal. No tools required.
