Designed for Food pH Analysis
The MA920B/1 food-grade electrode features an open-junction design that resists clogging from suspended solids and proteins found in meats, cheeses, soups, sauces, and sushi rice. Its conical tip penetrates semi-solids and emulsions for direct, in-situ pH measurement. The body is constructed from PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) — a food-safe plastic resistant to chlorine and most disinfectants used in food processing environments.

Care & Maintenance
Storage: Keep the probe hydrated at all times. Fill the probe cap with MA9015 Storage Solution and store upright. Never store in tap water or DI water — this degrades probe sensitivity.
Cleaning: Soak the electrode in MA9016 Cleaning Solution regularly, especially after testing high-organic-content samples, to prevent junction clogging and maintain sensing bulb sensitivity.
Calibration: Calibrate regularly and always after cleaning or extended storage to maintain ±0.02 pH accuracy.
