How It Works
The GrowRite filter combines KDF (Kinetic Degradation Fluxion) and Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) media in a single inline housing. KDF media uses a redox (oxidation-reduction) reaction to remove heavy metals and inhibit bacterial growth, while GAC adsorbs chlorine, chloramines, pesticides, herbicides, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Together, they deliver broad-spectrum filtration that a carbon-only filter simply cannot match.
