Gravity filtration without electricity
The Alexapure Pro uses gravity to move water through its filter into the lower chamber. Its stainless steel construction and dispensing spigot make it a practical countertop option without a powered connection.
- Water storage capacity: 2.25 gallons.
- Assembled system height: 21.5 inches, including the top handle.
- Upper chamber height: 10 inches; lower chamber height: 10.125 inches.
- System weight: less than 8 pounds, excluding bundle accessories.
- Included system components: upper and lower chambers, lid, stainless steel spigot assembly, knob assembly, non-slip base ring, three filter-port plugs and instructions.
Storage and countertop accessories
The 5-gallon container is made from BPA-free polyethylene and collapses for storage. Use it to collect or store drinking water and dispense it through the included spigot.
The brushed stainless steel stand is 6.125 inches tall and raises the system to provide space beneath the spigot for cups and glasses.
The separate replacement parts kit includes three rubber filter-port plugs, one non-slip rubber base ring and one plastic lid knob with assembly hardware.
Filtration performance and limitations
The existing product performance information lists a verified filtration capacity of 200 gallons. Chlorine reduction claims are not performance tested beyond 200 gallons. Other performance claims are based on independent laboratory and manufacturer testing, and results depend on source-water quality, flow rate, system design and application. Contaminants listed in test data are not necessarily present in every water supply.
Review the manufacturer's performance data sheet supplied with the system for specific reduction results and operating requirements. Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate testing and/or disinfection before or after the system. Follow the supplied installation, maintenance and filter replacement instructions.
Cleaning and filter care
- Before first use, rinse the inside of each stainless steel chamber with cool, clean water.
- Dust chamber exteriors with a soft cloth.
- If needed, carefully remove the filter and clean its exterior with a scour pad and clean water, without soap. Rinse thoroughly before reinstalling.
- Follow the manufacturer's replacement schedule and investigate a substantial reduction in water flow.
- Store replacement filters above 35°F and follow the manufacturer's instructions for keeping filters moist and preventing drying.
Returns and manufacturer information
The existing product listing states a 30-day return policy for unopened products. Requests for opened products or returns after 30 days are reviewed case by case. Filter performance varies with source-water conditions. Consult the store's current return policy and the manufacturer's supplied documentation for applicable terms and limitations.
